Another young life lost, for what

Why do our political masters sit on the fence about knife deaths happening to our young people. It's all very well bringing in laws to stop and search, but this is still no deterrent as we can see. Thousand stopped and searched with many found to be carrying a knife, and the punishment is so punitive. The only punishment for carrying a knife has to be such that it leaves a message to others,but while we have so many do-gooders making excuses for the people who carry-out these terrible crimes, nothing will be done.

Lets fight pain with pain. Bring back the birch and show the punishment being administered. Knife carrying would virtually cease overnight.

Who else would agree.

OOPS the PC brigade just swallowed their collective teeth, you have just said a naughty word PUNISHMENT  don't forget their human rights to slice and stab whoever or whatever they like , As long as its not to the PCs  or there offspring's . Then of course their human rights comes into play and with a collective howl. The birch is a little primitive but hit them were it really hurts in their or their parents pockets . Then they will really get it in the neck and more than likely a real good beating . Ooh what a lovely thought

I have  carried a knife every day of my life, since I was 10 yrs old. I do not understand what your question means? Have you lost a loved one, that was murdered by a knife? I live in WI, and we carry this as a tool.

So would you feel any better if they were shot or were bludgeoned to death with a stone or hammer.  It is not the instrument that causes the harm, it is the person using it!

The law is PATHETIC! If someone does something bad, they get a short sentance and a 'pat on the back' for doing it! I agree! Jesus, if i was incharge i'd say let them get what they deserve and throw them in prison all their lives! ...
