More news about the greyhound incident!!??

Question

Ok...just read some more news about the greyhound attack..Another passenger said that Tim McClean was actually fighting off the suspect at one point and even jumped over him in the aisle..Passengers saw this!!! So why didn't anyone else jump in??? If Tim was able to try and fight him off, why didn't some other guys try as well?? This is really bothering me..The guy had a knife, not a gun..so its not like he could turn around and shoot everybody..I know, its done and over, but i just read this and had to bring it up..

What I read says he (McLean not McClean) was seen being stabbed repeatedly in the throat by other passengers.  No fighting off and jumping over people.

I'd stop trying to judge others actions in an extreme situation - they are doing that enough themselves.  If a person wakes up in the middle of the night in an unfamiliar location (sleeping on a bus) to people screaming and a man's throat being cut/stabbed, the first instinctive reaction will usually be "run away!"

They did disable the bus and prevent the attacker from escaping, threatening him with a hammer and crowbar.  

I'd confirm your sources thoroughly, and then look to your need to judge what reactions others had in the first few seconds after they awoke to an unfathomable nightmare.

yeah   i don't get that either... i mean not the pregnant women and children...but COME ON...there wasn't ONE MAN there?  apparently not a REAL MAN!!!!   good point honey!!
