I think I may have the correct fuse. A fuse in a heat press machine blew. The people told me I needed a 15 AMP 250V GMA ..I went earlier to auto parts stores and Home Depot (that didnt have it) and saw AGC's GMC's fuses and whatever other abbreviations..what are the abbreviations for on those type of fuses? Anything special or just to catalog them?

  1. The GMA fuses are specified in metric measurements.   The below link has a table with the size specs, but in case you have trouble with that:

    AGC Series - 1/4” x 1-1/4” Fast-Acting fuses

    MDL Series - 1/4” x 1-1/4” Time-Delay fuses

    GMA Series - 5x20 mm Fast-Acting fuses

As you can see, the GMA fuse is a bit shorter and a little narrower than the AGC type.
