More players added to Jacksonville Jaguars’ injury vows – NFL News
The Jacksonville Jaguars have suffered further setback as their list of injured players was extended to include more players in their game against the Cleveland Browns on the Past Sunday.
Jaguars have already been missing their two key players, their starter in the cornerback position Rashean Mathis with knee injury and defensive tackle Terrance Kington who also missed the Sunday game.
The defensive end Matt Roth and linebacker Cling Session have lately been added to their injuries vows. Both players were made to be on the sideline in the second half of their 10-14 loss to Cleveland Browns.
Browns had managed to maintain 14-10 lead over the Jaguars to inflict a defeat on them despite that the game had finished close.
Both the players, Ruth and Kington, were sent out for suffering the concussion-like symptoms. They did not return to play again in the match.
Given the serious nature of their injuries of concussions, both players are expected to miss the next Sunday's game against American Football Conference (AFC) south division's Houston Texans.
The Roth's injury is the latest scare for the Jaguars as their Aaron Kampman; one of their best rusher has missed consecutive eight games in the current season. He has been struggling for recovery from his injury to right knee.
He had suffered the injury during halfway through the last regular season of the National Football League (NFL), the premier American football league.
If both players have been ruled out for the next game the workload will be shared by some other players. They include the Jaguars backup John Chick and their newly signed George Selvie.
However, even if Kampman was ready for the next Sunday; he has the very limited participation of only two games. He has played only 15-20 snaps. In any case the Jacksonville Jaguars are going to face pressure at their pass-rush
position.
Jaguars had enjoyed a status of being the only team with a less ratio of injuries in the NFL's current season. However, all of sudden their few key players have been added to the injuries list forcing them to sign a couple of new
players to fill the gap.
