More plugins for compiz ? ?

where and how do i get the plugin for my compiz i'm jelous already people got more 3d effect than me i tired the terminal but didn't work plz i want some effects

If you are working with Ubuntu 8.04 and don't mind running the script direct from Compiz-git then here you go. Start off by opening a Terminal and submit the following command :

sudo apt-get remove compiz-core compiz-fusion-plugins-extra compiz-fusion-plugins-main compiz-gnome compizconfig-settings-manager libcompizconfig0 libdecoration0 compizconfig-settings-manager python-compizconfig emerald

After which follow the script on the link below :

This works on Linux Mint 5.0 as well.
