now the question is

1.) If you hae one spin on the spinner and one change to draw a letter card, what is theprobility of spinning 4, and drawing A on one turn

A. 1/8

B. 1/16

C. 1/2

D. 1/4

What is the answer and how did you do it i know you have to find the two probilitys but then what do you do add, mutiply, or dividee

  1. B. 1/16

  2. the answer to your question is (b).

spinning a four is only one card out of four so its 1/4 or that equals .25

Drawing a A is only one out of four also, so that is 1/4 or .25 also

if there is a probopility question like this and it asked "what is the Proboplity of so AND so" you multiply because it's And....if it was Or you would add.

    so its..

    (1/4)(1/4)            or           .25 * .25

that give you .0625 and that is the propobility

the way ypu get 1/16 is you just do it...on dived by sixteen equals .0625 also.

    hope that helps.
