More sings of global warming?

Question

I wonder, if NOT is a really weird thing that is happening right now in Puerto Rico, this is an image:

Theres this winter storm, 1,500 miles from PR, thats causing waves NON stop.. since 2 days ago.. and it will last till FRIDAY.

This is never happend before ( i know i live there, and is really weird to see the sea like that!)

Global Warming has nothing to do with it.

Since you have never seen anything like this, we are supposed to believe that it has never happened before and that it is due to global warming?  Sorry, it has happened before and storms are nothing new to any part of the world.

Humans have been such brief visitors to this planet and if you only count recorded history almost any event may seem unique.  But if you study the 5 billion year history of the earth even an asteroid wiping out the dinosaurs is not unique.  Sighs that the earth is warming over the last few years are hard to pin down without detail analysis.  Even then we could be wrong.

i've never heard of a wave that lasted for 20 seconds.

unless you're talking of a tsunami.

however, you certainly are having quite a storm.

but, it's not unprecedented.

it's not possible at this time, however, to say that global warming is responsible.
