More skilled: Backgammon or Checkers?

Question

Since I have been playing Backgammon, I have no desire to play checkers anymore.

I get the feeling I kind of 'graduated' from checkers.

I know, I know...Backgammon has luck involved. We have all been there: blowing our opponent out. Only to see 2 fluke rolls and ends up breaking everything down.

Backgammon is much more skilled.

There is luck involved yes but over an extended period of time the better player will win more often than the less skilled.

He'd never beat Einstein in checkers

Backgammon way skilled than checkers. Or do chess lol.

I think Backgammon, but that might be because everytime I have tried to understand it, I have failed miserably.
