Last night, even though I don't have my period, I tried a tampon... Kinda. I put the applicator thing in for a minute or two. But when I walked around it felt weird and when I sat down it hurt? Will tampons feel like this? Are they supposed to? Did I put it in wrong? Was it cuz I just used the applicator thing?

  1. FIRST, you should not use tampon in ordinary day (usually it is painful)

SECOND, IF YOU INSERTED TAMPON CORRECTLY - YOU SHOULD NOT FEEL IT.

THIRD, during your period you should follow 5 steps:

    Step1:

First wash your hands and unwrap your tampon. Stand or sit in a comfortable position.  Some women prefer to place one leg on the toilet seat or tub, or bath while others prefer to squat down. Some women find it easiest to crouch down with knees apart. Hold the applicator (where the ridges are on the tube) with the thumb and middle finger of one hand. Hold the middle of the tampon, at the spot where the smaller, inner tube inserts into the larger, outer tube. Make sure the string is visible and pointing away from your body.

    Step2:

Using second hand spread the folds of skin around the vaginal opening. Place the tip of the outer tube of the tampon applicator (not the end with the cord hanging out) in the opening of your v****a.

    Step3:

The v****a slants upwards towards your back. So, gently slide the applicator in an upwards and backwards direction. (It sometimes helps to slightly rotate or twist the applicator from side to side). Stop pushing when your thumb and finger touch your body

    Step4:

Still holding the applicator on the ridges, push the bottom of the small tube completely up inside the big tube. This slides the tampon out of the applicator and into your v****a.

    Step5:

Hold tightly onto the two tubes that are now one inside the other. Gently take out both applicator tubes together. (Wrap them in tissue and put them in a bin. The cardboard tubes can also be flushed away.) You'll see that the cord of the tampon is now hanging down outside your body. Make sure that the string hangs outside of the vaginal opening. Later, when you are ready to remove the tampon, hold the string and gently pull it downward until the entire tampon is out.

  2. You put it in wrong for starters, second, never put a tampon in when you're not having your period.  Now, when you are having your period, hold the applicator as instructed in the instructions, push it all the way inside you at an angle until your fingers touch your skin and then pull the applicator out.  The applicator doesn't stay in there and the way you worded that makes it sound like you left it in.  Maybe I just read it wrong.

  3. So you had some inflexible cardboard up your v****a? And you were walking around flexing your body around an inflexible object? No wonder it hurt!!!!

Of course you put it in wrong. read the instructions. You don't leave the applicator in!

And a dry tampon will hurt too. Never put in a tampon when you don't need it.

  4. its just cuz u didn't put it in far enough u will learn after a while!

  5. You probably did put it in wrong.

First get a brand new tampon

Find a comfortable position, some girls prefer to squat or put one leg up on the toilet seat.

The applicator has to go inside of you.

So take your index and middle finger and spread the c.l.i.t (opening to your v****a) apart.

Place your finger on the grips that should be marked one the tampon

Adjust the applicator to the hole to your v****a.

and push the applicator all the way in until your finger where the grip is touches the hole.

Than remove your fingers from your C**t and push the smaller piece of the applicator inward toawrd your v****a.

Your should feel the tampon go up inside of you.

Then remove the applicator and you should be fine.

After this it shouldn't be uncomfertable when you walk around and sit down.

  6. u put the aplicator in??? or the actual tampon (padding stuff) ur supposed to remove the applicator...but its not in far enough if it hurts make sure ur legs are far apart and that if ur using an applicator if ur fingers r on the grip thing make sure that ur fingers touch ur skin before u push it and then pull the applicator out!!!

  7. u need to put it in further
