They are. It's just natural assumption that women can't perform as well (for whatever reason) in the other 5% of those jobs so Government just made it official.

well....

yes. honestly? yes. but i can see where the problems are going to crop up.

I have had death threats, stalkers, and everything in between being a female in the military. is it rare? indeed, but still scary. i thing the government is waiting for society to change it's ways before it changes it's policies.

Yes I do - it seems to me sexist to have it any other way.  If a person cannot do a job, fine - but you should at least let suitable candidates through, whatever their gender :-)
