Hi again. :) I upgraded to 512MB RAM as suggested in my post about processor upgrades, but the computer is now running
extremely slow, much worse than before with only 256. It also freezes
up a lot now, almost always when using an internet browser (either IE
or Firefox). Is there a setting in BIOS or Windows or something like
that that I've overlooked? I've tried disabling internet plug-ins and that hasn't helped. This computer has only one slot for one
memory stick, a PC133. The BIOS version is 2001.
