  1. It's far more likely the additional trapped heat by greenhouse gases, not any change in solar output, that is raising the ocean temperature.

Here's a nice explanation by a Climate Scientist from Texas A&M:

Here's another by the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research:

Here's what the Max Plank Institute says:

Here's a recent study from a group of scientists in Europe:

    Edit:

Cindy W - Not sure who you're referring too, but my post doesn't say CO2 is trapped, it says "trapped heat by greenhouse gases". That's kind of the main point of AGW. I'm surprised you've never heard that before. Maybe you should read some scientific literature on global warming.

  2. it could be under sea volcanos that are causing the ocean temperature rises http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/...

  3. OK, now CO2 is trapped that is causing this heat.... YEAH!!!  The alarmists are desperately trying to find a way to justify their failed theory.  I wonder if the scientists that figured this out will give Dana his peer reviewed scientific evidence that the Sun warms us.  Alarmists are holding on by a very find thread at this point.  Still, as of yet there is no proof of CO2 causing warming but they are still trying.  Even though their numbers are dwindling and they are getting more and more desperate.
