More violence from women

Question

There are now on average 240 women arrested each day for violence,

What concerns me is this statement "Crime reduction charities say the increase is down to the police, who are dealing with violent women more formally in order to meet targets".

Why are the police not dealing with violent women anyway? how come they deal with violent men formally? but only deal with violent women when they have targets? Surely they should be dealt with the same regardless of s*x.

I agree with you, all criminals should be treated exactly the same regardless of whether they are male or female.

I think in the past, women turn on the waterworks and use their charms to talk their way out of trouble with the police. The targets the police have now have clearly put a stop to that and rightly so, but I wonder how many people both male and female are being needlessly prosecuted just to meet government targets?

They already do deal with violent women, it just happens to get in the news that much more now. It is on the increase however, and i would put that down to alcohol almost entirely
