More ways to advertise for a 13 year old's lawnmowing services late in the season?

i would like to have more ways to advertise for my lawn mowing service. i have already sent out 7 flyers to those in my neighborhood who are elderly, or without a landscaping company that already works for them and the houses are within walking distance, and i havent gotten any replies yet. i sent the flyers out sunday. sadly, my neighborhood is very hilly, and the only transportation i have is my feet and the walk behind mower. so unless my 13 year old mower has found a secret pocket of power to get up the hills, i cant go too far. currently, i do mowing, edging, weed whacking, snow shoveling, raking, and blowing. i might resort to door to door, but i dont want to bug the people that i have already asked with the flyer.

I wish you luck, Chad.  You sound like a very energetic, hard-working young man!  Distributing the flyers was a wise move.  It's only been a couple of days....give it a little time.  People tend to pile up mail and "important papers" in one spot and look at it every week or so  <or even less frequently!>

Do you ride your bike around the neighborhood?  Maybe post a sign on it?  Also ask if you can post a flyer on the bulletin board at the local grocery, dry cleaners, drug store, etc.
