More ways to go green?

I want more ways to be good to the environment. I know all the old tricks, has any one came up with some clever ideas to save our earth? most creative answer wins the points!

Invent a perpetual motion machine, take the bus to work, compost your waste, be a single-car family, plant a tree, install and use rain barrels, install a lawn that's more appropriate than grass in your region, and discover a way to _cleanly_ burn coal.

I am so bored of this "green fad".  

We shouldn't need a campaign to alert us to be conscious of our environment and pollutants for crying out loud!

It may just be young people such as yourself, that "need ideas" because so many of you came into this world ruining the earth for others with your innocent ignorance.

Check out the new field of "environmental/green design". They're coming out with some pretty creative ways to deal with a lot of our environmental problems, while additionally benefiting society.

Example: Eco-machines, invented by scientist John Todd. Here's the really simplified version, which doesn't give it justice: Basically, you grow plants, fish, algea, etc. in sewage/waste water. By growing stuff in the water, you clean it, making it consumable by humans again. Additionally, you can gain by the products grown in the water, from tree fruit to fresh fish. Pretty creative, sweet stuff.

Well i an sure you have heard of the E85 ethanol car.  Pretty cool right, well not as cool as this.  In japan they have come out with a car that runs on compressed air.  This car is currently being tested and the manufacturer has a working prototype.  The only problem is its long distance travel restriction.  Well the same company (I am not sure of the name) is designing a generator that also runs on only air so the generator will be constantly refilling the tanks and you will never have perpetual motion and never have to refill and your only emission will be clean, pure, breathable air.
