  1. ça être bien vrai

  2. There's a wise saying out in the East that says you can't see light if you're looking out from under a lamppost [燈下不明]. That is, until you know some other places well, other than where you live, you're in no place to objectively judge the place where you're from. Travel opens your mind.

  3. Depends on where you travel.

  4. yes you do.

  5. 45% correct. you can compare the way of living in the foreign country against the standard of living in your own country.

When you go abroad you are looking from the view of the tourist, where you are presented with the best the country has to offer, you may see people smiling at you and greeting you in all the places you visit and this makes you feel important and maybe think that your own country is inferior.  All the nice gestures happen because you are a tourist and a means of income.

What if on the other hand you go to a foreign country as a tramp, and the way people in the foreign country start treating you; how would you feel? We do get two types of immigrants in my country - tourists and illegal immigrants; we treat them in a different way.

So it is difficuilt to prove correctness of your statement;-

I would say that the More I travel away, the more I broaden my horizons,

  6. That is true, it is when you realize the ppositive and negatives.
