Why are Morecambe Bay waves so unexpected and dangerous?

  1. comes in like a flood no warning, if you ever go out there take a local they no the tides problem is that it comes in that fast that next thing your stuck on a sand bunk until it gets to you don't go unless you take a local or a moter bike


  2. Because for some reason the tide doesn't ebb and flow, coming in gradually.

    It just flows into the bay as if someone has turned on a tap.  They sound a warning siren and fly a flag.  It is dangerously fast.

  3. Because the Bay is very shallow, hence the water enters it at great speed.
