Morello as a child's name?

Question

Not exactly asking for someone to tell me what to name my child, but I was thinking about Morello(a) as a name. Ever heard of some random Morello Smith runnin' around?

I do like the originality, but you must think of the nasty things other people (kids) will call him.  Jello.  Hello Morello.Yellow Morello.  Pillow.  Okay...so those aren't that bad.  But I don't like the rhyming with Jello factor.

So are you a Tom Morello fan?  I am.  And Morello is better than Tom.

Unique names are nice, did this come from a different culture or is it made up etc...? I have a daughter whose name comes from the lowest note on the buddhist musical scale and I'm expecting a son whose name comes from the Basque culture. You do catch alot of flack from parents who want you/your child/your life to be "normal" but is that really so great? Alot of studies point to no and most say there is no connection between names and how you do in life-its all in the nature/nurturing of your child so don't fret when people boo your baby name idea and do what you think is best.

If you like this name but need more suggestions this sounds very Shakespearean to me so maybe thumb through some plays or literature baby name books for more hints.

Also to avoid picking trendy names go to the social security website and look at the top 1000 for baby names

It's a nice name, and the originality is a plus. If you like it, don't let other people discourage you from using it.
