Moreno Moser strengthened his overall lead by winning the stage 6 of the Tour of Pologne
Moreno Moser of Team Liquigas-Cannondale wins the sixth stage of the Tour of Pologne after his momentous performance during the 191.8 kilometre race.
He cruised across the finish-line in an impressive time of 5 hours, 16 minutes and 32 seconds and restricted the race favourites.
Sergio Luis Henao Montoya of Team Sky, Michal Kwiatkowski of Team Omega Pharma-Quickstep, Greg Van Avermaet of Team BMC and Przemyslaw Niemiec of Team Lampre - ISD achieved the next four spots in the respective order.
Moreno Moser of Team Liquigas-Cannondale, Sergio Luis Henao Montoya of Team Sky and Michal Kwiatkowski of Team Omega Pharma-Quickstep achieved the top three spots with 20, 19 and 18 points respectively.
Moser started his 2012 winning account with a first place finish at the Trofeo Laigueglia and also achieved the first overall position at the Eschborn-Frankfurt City Loop.
He finished second during the Trofeo Melinda and achieved the third overall spot during the Italian National Road Race Championships.
The 21-year-old started his professional pursuit with Team Liquigas-Cannondale in 2012 and is enjoying a terrific term with the Italian side.
He also succeeded during the opening stage of the race and currently leads the stage 6 classifications.
Michal Kwiatkowski of Team Omega Pharma-Quickstep is five seconds behind at the second position with Sergio Luis Henao Montoya of Team Sky Procycling holding the third position.
Alexandr Kolobnev of Team Katusha and Linus Gerdemann of Team RadioShack-Nissan currently occupy the fourth and the fifth positions respectively.
Michal Kwiatkowski of Team Omega Pharma-Quickstep is leading the point’s classifications with 69 points to his credit.
Moreno Moser of Team Liquigas-Cannondale, Ben Swift of Team Sky Procycling, Sergio Luis Henao Montoya of Team Sky and Rinaldo Nocentini of Team AG2R La Mondiale secure the next four spots.
