Morethanafeeling favourite for Ratoath Handicap (Div I)
Morethanafeeling has got a solid chance of claiming the Ratoath Handicap (Div I) at Fairyhouse in Ireland on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. A cash prize of €3,850 will be awarded to the race winner.
The going will be good in the 1 mile 2 furlong race, which is scheduled to start at 19:50 GMT and a total of 18 runners have been attracted towards the event. Their names are as follows: The Fox Tully, Morethanafeeling, Sheilas Wish, Dart Queen, Polly Ella,
Marcus Attilius, Saratoga Baby, Our Nana Rose, Catch Light, Whiteside, Global Recovery, Lady´s Locket, Blue Ridge Lane, Cannot Give, Cookie Crumbles, Golan Heights, Be Attitude and Matua Flyer.
Although there are some fierce competitors taking part in the race, it seems that the victory will belong to Morethanafeeling, who is in very good shape at the moment. She is an experienced campaigner and has been doing well in recent times. This will definitely
encourage the punters to place a lot of bets in her favour today.
The six-year-old mare has entered 23 races in her career, but does not have an ideal strike rate, as she has managed to win just once. She also secured the runner up spot on the same number of times whereas took the third place on a couple of occasions.
The C. P. Donoghue’s trainee was victorious in her penultimate race, but was unable to repeat a similar show in her most recent outing. However, her performance was not bad at all, as she finished runner up that time around. Her stamina is quite impressive,
which will be a key factor in determining the winner of the Ratoath Handicap.
Morethanafeeling will be ridden by young jockey, M. M. Monaghan, who might be a touch nervous going into this race at Fairyhouse. However, he seems to have a lot of potential and could become a very good rider in the future.
Another runner, who has a chance of fighting at the front, will be The Fox Tully. He has never managed to win any race, but has earned the confidence of the bookies. The best he could ever manage was a runner up position once out of eight attempts.
