He told the reporters in an interview, “I can't describe it, I've been dreaming of it for my whole life. I know it's only pre-season and it was a tap-in but they all count. I'm over the moon to have scored it.”

Rodgers fielded a handful of young players in their tour opener, in order to gauge their potential ahead of the next season.
