Norwich City striker Steve Morison is fired his teams World Cup qualifier against Belgium and insists that his side are ready to show just what they’re capable of.
Wales have not won a single game under new manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chris-c9006 Coleman, who took over the national side after Gary Speed’s tragic death. The team has not even managed a single goal in all three of their games under Coleman, who has a lot to prove and live up to.
The team had previously performed really well under Speed, who led them to four wins out of five games. However, that form has diminished significantly, and much of the optimism that surrounded Wales has withered away.
There had been high hopes when http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wales-c3041 took on Bosnia-Herzegovina, but the team lost the game 2-0. It is no wonder why many have already written off the team’s chances of qualifying for the World Cup after Wales were drawn in a group with Belgium
Belgium are arguably the strongest team in the group. With the likes of established names such as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marouane-Fellaini-c24295 and Moussa Dembele, this Belgian side has been called the ‘golden generation’ by both pundits
and fans.
Steve Morison will start the game for Wales tomorrow night, and the Norwich City striker insists that his side is not concerned with Belgium’s big names. The player believes that Wales can get a result from the game and said:
"We have beaten some good teams over the last year and we know we can do well if we focus on ourselves. Our form has dipped over the last few games but we are trying to put it together on Friday night.”
Speaking about http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Belgium-c2850, he added:
“They are fantastic players, they play for some of the best teams in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 and it will be a massive test, and across the board it is a very good team on paper, but they did not do well in the last campaign and hopefully they will have a down night on Friday.”
"We have to make sure we all perform and are on the top of our game."
