Morne Morkel targeting http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MJ-Clarke-c1978’s wicket at Adelaide – Cricket News Update
South Africa fast bowler http://www.senore.com/Cricket/M-Morkel-c73528, on Monday warned Australian batsmen, especially the opposition skipper Michael Clarke, that they can expect some short-pitched deliveries from the Proteas pace attack in the second Test of the three-match series, commencing at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday, November 22, 2012.
The Australian captain scored a magnificent double century to bail out his side from an early blow (40 for 3) in the first innings of the drawn series opener against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757, at the Brisbane Cricket Ground in Brisbane.

While speaking to media reporters before training in Adelaide on Monday, the big man from Vereeniging revealed his side's plan for the second Test, saying that the Proteas pace quartet will look to dismantle the Australian batting line-up with a short ball barrage.
"Any batsmen struggles a bit at first with the short ball so we will probably come up with game plans and start working on those sort of things," said the 28-year-old right-arm speedster from Transvaal, who picked up three of the total five Australian wickets claimed by the South African attack in Gabba Test.
"Definitely that is a plan to always use a short ball - you have got two short balls an over so why not use it. We just need to use it in a clever way and see how we go from there," he added further.
Admitting that the Australian skipper played “very, very well at Gabba”, Morkel said that they would also look to create some more pressure on the Kangaroos by preventing Clarke from rotating the strike.
The gangling Transvaal seamer said that they have got one of the best bowling attacks in the world and hoped to prove that at Adelaide later this week.
"We have played against quality opposition and this is just another challenge for us. There is a lot of talk about our bowling attack being number one and hopefully we can produce that," said Morkel, a veteran of 43 Tests and 58 One Day Internationals.
