Coming from San Bernardino to Redondo,

taking 605 S to 105 W to 91 W to 405 N to Western Exit,

Need to arrive at PCH/Torrance Blvd. in Redondo Beach at 10 am

How long can I realistically expect to sit in traffic? PLEASE HELP

  1. 2 hours

Do you know why they call it the 4-0-5?  Because it takes 4-0-5 hours to get anywhere;-)!!

  2. you could try metrolink instead

and if you had a metrolink pass it would be vaild on the connecting transit (although you would have pay a small surghare for the freeway zones

(although you would have to leave San Berandino

at 6:00am arrives LA at 7:40am then board either

    a 444 (to Torrrance/Hawthone Or 445 (to Carson/Harbor

freeway then transfer again to  torrance Line 3

and it will get to your destination just in nick time 9;53am

  3. Yikes, that is going to suck.  I'd say about 2 hours.

You may want to look into Metrolink.  Get on at the San Bernardino station, go to LA Union Station, and from there take MTA red line subway to 7th St. Metro Center, then blue line to Imperial/Wilmington, and finally green line train which ends at Redondo Beach.

Yeah, it's a lot of switching, but the trains come fairly frequently except for the initial Metrolink from SB.
