Morning After Pill affects periods?

3 weeks ago i took a morning after pill. I have been having my period now every week for the past 3 weeks. Is that normal, or just a hormone imbalance? how long will it last?

Yes, it is somewhat normal. The after-effects of the Plan B pills will cause you to have irregular periods after taking it, as well as some bleeding about a week after you take it. The bleeding that occurs after you take Plan B is your body getting rid of the endometrium lining in your uterus (same as a regular period as well). It should only last about a week to 10 days, so if you're still bleeding and it doesn't resemble a normal period for you, I recommend that you see your doctor soon. Something else could be the cause of the bleeding.
