I had s*x with my boyfriend earlier today && the condom split. I'm not on the pill yet so i'm planning on getting the morning after pill tomorrow. But not sure on a few things..

Can you buy it over the counter at a pharmacy or chemist or do you have to go to your doctors?

How much does it cost?

Any more added information would be great..

Thanks xx

  1. you can buy the pill at any local drug store

you have to be 18 years old to buy it and make sure you take your id

    it shoudlnt be over $50

when you go in just ask for Plan B

  2. Yes you can buy it for £20 and they give you two pills. But its not that easy to get hold of. You and your partner must both go together to obtain the pills, and they will ask you a number of specific questions such as when did you have s*x etc...

    Hope you are well. x

  3. I Think you can you have ti pay at a pharmacy and you can get it on the NHS at the GP also you must have it within 36 hours of s*x. x

  4. Go to the Chemist, cost £20.00's

  5. you can either go to a health clinic or go to a pharmacy or chemists.

    It's £25.

Boots and any other chemists will do it.

    Good luck!

  6. You can buy it at a chemist.  Last I heard it was around £20 to buy.  x*x

  7. One thing is make sure you take the morning after pill within 72 hours of having intercourse.

  8. if your under 18 you have to go to a doctor and the pharmist will ask for ID and it was $49.95 I had horrible side affects with that pill I was soooo sick I was vomiting and I just felt horrible and guess what the pill did not work Im pregnant and I regret ever taking that stuiped pill

  9. In MA, USA it's $40 at the pharmacy. It's quite convenient and you can take it up to 72 hours after a sexual encounter. But the sooner, the better.

After this, just go on the pill, it makes life SOOOO much easier!

    Good luck!

  10. I know exactly how you feel.  When I was in college one night I had s*x with my now ex girlfriend and the condom broke and I didn't notice it until we were done.  You have 48 hours from the time you had s*x to take the morning after pill, but we didn't take any chances and went to the emergency room of a local hospital that same day and got the pill there.  It's not sold over the counter ($140 hospital bill!), and she did vomit (one of the side effects), but she didn't get pregnant.

  11. If you go to Boots its free you just have to fill in a form, also if you go to your local NHS walk in centre, your local GUM clinic or do you have a young person's advice centre (our local one is called Streetwise and it has contraception, relationship etc advice) also you can get it at A&E (I think) or your doctors. Call NHS Direct 08454647 and they will give you your nearest service if you don't want to go to your usual doctor x x x
