I'd like to have a party for the season opener of my favorite football team! The game starts at 10AM on a Sunday. What kinds of food should I serve? Drinks?? I thought Mimosas and Bloody Mary's maybe? But I am really stuck as far as food. I'd like things that can be at least most of the way prepared the night before. Any help would be appreciated!

  1. Mimosa!!!!?? Bloody Mary's???? HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

Try This~ Beer, sausage, biscuits and gravy.

Are MEN coming? Men don't drink Mimosa's and Bloody Mary's sweetie. If they do then they may be a little on the fruit filled side.

  2. Peach Pie is 100% correct. Why don't you feed those mimosa drinking, light in the loafer, sausage smokers some quiche, and cheese blintzes, hahaha.

  3. I do enjoy a good mimosa, but Peachpie has a point. When I am watching football I prefer beer & maybe a sandwich or a bbq. It really depends on the crowd though, so you might be right because I don't know who is attending. Just some kind of chips & dip, a platter of meats and cheeses, various rolls, and some beer is the best idea, in my opinion.

*Also, just to clear things up, I may like mimosa's, but I am not on the fruit filled side.
