Morning after pill.....?? Girls only!?

i took the morning after pill and i got my period the next day.. is this normal? it was a way lot heavier than normal.. it has been a month since i took the pill and i havent had my period since then.... does this mean i could be pregnant? thanks heaps

I don't know about "normal" (you'd have to ask a doctor) but the same thing happened to me long ago. it also took about 5 weeks after for my period to come back and jumpstart back into a regular cycle.

just an idea but i think fertilization prob happened b/c the pill kind of jump started your period... the job of the pill is to not let fertilization occur and if it does to delete it and i think it did it's job... give your doc a call for sure or go to where you bout it and ask the pharm. and as to your preg Q just take the test...

sounds normal to me. Would probably still do preg test, just to give you peace of mind, but the same thing happened to me and it took awhile for cycle to normalize again.

with the morning after pill it will mess your cycle up and make it late sometimes, if you are worried about pregnancy take a test as the morning after pill is not 100%, but it does sound like your period is just a little off

whenever you take the morning after pill it usually stagnates when you get your period the next time, so it should be delayed, and is usually nothing to worry about. sometimes the body reacts after the pill with the excessive bleeding etc which is quite common but you should get it checked out if you dont get your period within 7 days of when your expecting.
