Morning after pill side effects?

Question

hi - had a moment of failed contraception on friday and took the morning after pill about 42 hours later. I expected to feel sick (and I did) but in the last day or two have had peculiar (and frequent) muscle spasms happening in my lower stomach area - almost like little contractions (not painful) - did anyone else have this after they took it? It just feels really weird. I know this isnt a major thing - am just curious.....

i took the morning after pill, and experienced exactly what you did, its nothing to worry about as it is normal lol.  i know it makes you feel like poo lol, but you do get better in time lol hope u get better soon..

Headaches are usually the most common side effects

You will find your period should arrive very soon so that is what the cramping could be

The fact you weren't sick almost guarantees the MAP worked so i wouldn't worry too much

Google the make of the MAP it should give you lots of info

I took the morning after pill once, and I was fine.

Weird. I took that to help stop some severe bleeding. I did not notice any side effects, even though the ER doctor said I would. I would get checked by an OB just to be sure.  Or at least give them a call.  A nurse will help you determine if you should see the doctor or not.
