  1. I had the same problem I eat sour Candie like sour skittles. If you tell your doctor it give some med for it ask for b6  my doctor gave me med but I only remember only the B6 not the other one sorry I hope it help you I really help me with the Candie I was sick all day

  2. I found that sucking on ice chips were really the only thing that would work for me. I hope this phase passes!!

  3. EAT SALTINES BEFORE U GET OUT OF BED!!

  4. I had severe morning sickness that lasted all day from morning to night. Here are some things Ive tried and they have worked:

*Try stepping outside for fresh air, sometimes the different odors in the house triggers my nausea

*eating snacks often keeps your stomache busy. Try eating crackers and keep some snacks by your bedside. I've woken up in the middle of the night with bad stomache pains a lot.

*When I cant keep my food down, Drinking carbonated water or Sprite Zero calmed my tummy.

*Morning sickness comes and goes and comes back again, some days I found that nothing worked. So instead of trying to stop my constant puking, I ate nothing but peanut butter sandwiches and drank water. That way it was a TON easier to throw back up, because the taste was just peanut butter. :)

*Drink lots of water!! Puking gets you dehydrated fast.

*Dont be afraid to give in to your cravings. If french fries are the only things you can eat without getting sick, dig in!

There was really no "Cure" that I found for my nausea, Some days I thought that my m/s stopped, only to find my nausea kick in at night. I just had to cope with it, and avoid things that made me sick (like TV food commercials..bleh).

My m/s finally dissapeared around my 5th month. Hopefully yours will end soon.

Hope these tips help. Good luck and congrats!

  5. I haven't had morning sickness... yet.  But my bf (who is also pregnant) had some sever sickness during her 1st trimester.  She discovered that Altoids (or any other strong mint - especially made with peppermint oil) really helped her.

  6. WHAT???????????????

    What?? Are you??

    And you never told me?

    WHAT?

  7. I tried the whole "eating before you get out of bed thing", but that just did not work for me.  Now I drink ginger ale or 7up or Sprite.  I also have been taking 1/2 a tablet of Unisom before I go to bed.  This seems to be the thing that is working best for me!  I have noticed I feel the worst when I am tired (right when I get up and right before I go to bed), so maybe the Unisom helps you sleep well, which eases the nausea.  Idk, but I do notice I feel the best (or least sick) when I've slept a lot.   Whatever the reason, it works and I'm grateful.  Try getting Sea Bands.  They are made for motion sickness.  I got them at Wal Mart by the dramamine (or however you spell it).  They're just wrist bands that put pressure on a nerve or something.  I'm not sure if they work as much as I think they do, lol.  But whether it's mental or not, it's helping, so I'm sticking to it!  I also chew Ice Breakers Sours when I start to feel icky.  It soothes my stomache almost instantly.  Kinda of a long answer, but these are my tricks.  Good luck!

  8. For some people ginger tea will ease nausea. A lot of people that take chemo will use the ginger herbal tea. My great grandmother was one who requested it as it always helped her.

It also helps with nausea from pregnancy and from sickness. A lot of people drink gingerale while sick.

Saltines are good to nibble on. Some women will keep a pack of saltines by their bed and nibble on a cracker before getting out of bed, eat a healthy breakfast and keep the crackers to snack on through out the day.

For me though, nothing consoled my nausea.

  9. Yes, the moment you feel nausea coming on eat a protein snack and drink a glass of water. More remedies on the link below. Congrats and best wishes, G
