MorningStar Academy? (Online School)

Question

Can anyone who's enrolled in Morningstar academy tell me about this schoool? i really want to enroll there but i heard bad things about the woman whoes in charge of that website

Honestly, I wouldn't give that woman my money in a million years...I have yet to find a positive comment about her, or her academies, that wasn't written by her and posted on one of her websites.

If you check out legitimate schools, such as K12, Connections, Keystone, etc., you'll find positive, neutral, and negative reviews at many different places.  However, all of the "positive" reviews are posted at any of her multitude of sites - and are posted *by* her.  That, in and of itself, is enough of a warning to stay away.

In addition, if you look around the Web, you'll notice a whole bunch of comments about her shady business practices, her many academies that pop up out of nowhere, etc.

I really would suggest that you find another school - for what she charges, it's just not worth the gamble.  JMHO...

I tell people as a "buyer beware"that Mimi Rothschild Mandel has been known to open online/correspondance schools, under many different names, take people's money and give them nothing that was promised. If you go to the site:

and search under her name you can read the discussions of things that have happened and get an (unconnected with Mimi) idea of what has happened in the past.

I believe Grace Academy is a scam run by Mimi Rothschild.

Jubilee is one of her older ones. I think the newest is

She is well known in the homeschooling community for being a scam artist. Good luck getting your money back.

I'm not "against" Jubileee or whatever her latest creation is called, I just want to make people aware that it may not be what they think.
