i have a new morphy richards blender, it worked fine once but now even when the switch on the blender is off, if you plug it into the wall it turns on even when timer/switch says 0. so, my friend thinks i should complain, but the d**n thing is soo heavy not sure i could be bothered to return it. i kind of think no big deal but my friend seems to think its like the crime of the century to send me one with faulty wiring and its dangerous blah blah. should i care? or just keep switching it on by plugging it in rather than the timer?

  1.     You've had more problems with blenders than anyone I know. Now  a hint for a "new" product. It's called a "hand mixer." It never moves until you crank the handle, it works even if the power goes off, there are no switches, no cords, it goes as fast or as slow as your hand allows and, finally, it's cheap. I still use my Grandmothers for making cakes and souffles.
