West Brom midfielder James Morrison is delighted to have signed a new four-year contract with the club, and hopes that Jonas Olsson and Chris Brunt will soon follow suit.
The 26-year old midfielder signed a new contract that commits him to the club till June 2016. The player is delighted to have committed his long term future to the Baggies, and cannot wait to help them to a top half finish in the league this season.
Having arrived at the Hawthorns in August 2007, Morrison remains West Brom’s longest serving player. this year.
Speaking to the local Birmingham press, the player said:
"This is my sixth season here now. I'm committed to the club, I feel settled here. There was no reason for wanting to leave.”

West Brom have made an impressive start to the Premier League season. The club has managed 7 points from 4 games, and was on an unbeaten run till they travelled to Fulham, where they endured their first defeat of the season.
Prior to the defeat, the club had managed two home victories and an impressive and well deserved draw against Tottenham at White Hart Lane.

Morrison insists that morale and confidence are at an all time high among the squad and admitted that the spirit at the Hawthorns played a vital role in his contract extension.
"It feels like home. That's down to playing every week, the team playing well, being settled," he continued.
"The fans have been great with me; the new manager coming in has been a big factor in me signing."
