my husbands mos is 68 whiskey..what part of medical is that really ? and what is the base pay for texas ??for E1

  1. Base pay has nothing to do with duty station. Base pay is determined by rank and years in service and will remain the same regardless of where he is stationed. An E-1 makes $1347/mo, before taxes. You can find a base pay chart here-

    A 68W is a combat medic-- they provide medical treatment to wounded soldiers.

    pay & allowances are based on rank and years in service!

    It has nothing to do with where you are stationed or assigned.

    However, It depends on your home of record (state) if his military is taxed.

    Texas and California residents are not taxed, they have an excemption.
