Moscow Treat likely to prevail in La Bucca Restaurant Handicap
Moscow Treat is expected to win the La Bucca Restaurant Handicap at Fairyhouse in Ireland on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. The winning runner will be given a cash prize of €5,865 in the end.
The speed of all participants will be tested in the 7 furlong race, which is scheduled to start at 18:50 GMT. Following are the entries confirmed for the event today: Man Of Erin, Ok Annie, Moscow Treat, Coppertop, You Got Heart, Bon Accord, Dazzling Pearl,
Big Bad Billy Bob, Highwater Express, Jouster, Inishmot Duchess, World Ruler, Leenavesta, Sleepytimegirl, Vespertine, Clenaghcastle Lady, One Of Three and Salacious Sally.
There are a lot of experienced runners lined up for action in the race, but the momentum seems to be with Moscow Treat at the moment. She has got very good speed and will definitely attract a lot of bets in her favour.
The four-year-old filly has participated in 10 races until now, winning once. Although her strike rate is not impressive, she has secured the runner up position on a couple of times and finished third on the same number of times.
Importantly, the Seamus G O'Donnell’s trainee has been performing extremely well over the past couple of events, which would have given her a lot of confidence. She finished runner up in her penultimate outing, despite not being expected to achieve such
a strong result.
This performance encouraged the bookies to give her the best odds in her next outing and she lived up to their expectations, winning by one length. If she manages to repeat such a show, no one will be able to stop her from taking a second consecutive victory.
Moscow Treat will be partnered by young jockey, M. M. Monaghan, who will be looking forward to this race, as it will be his first competitive competition.
However, all eyes will be on Man Of Erin, who has earned the confidence of the bookies ahead of the race at Fairyhouse. He was unable to make a solid impression at the start of his career, but did a perfect job in his most recent run, finishing first in
it.
Other than the top two favourites, Ok Annie might also manage to fight at the front in the race today.
