  1. i agree russia shd stop sippin vodka but there is no point of american troops to be in iraq rite now just causes more chaios..

  2. Last time I've heard Putin said about Iraq something like that (and it was more than a year ago):

"It was a bad thing US invaded in Iraq, but it will go worse if US will get out of Iraq now".

  3. MOSCOW??? Russia doesn't know S**t.

They should stick to invading Georgia and leave our nation alone. When was the last time Russia helped the USA when it came to wars?

  4. I have not heard this on the news or seen it on cnn.com. The main thing the Russians are pissed about is our plan with Poland right now to put up some missile defense systems.

  5. well. id say Bush isnt in Iraq and Afghanistan. he's right here in America last i checked

  6. s***w MOSCOW,THEY HAVE NO AUTHORITY.

  7. I say Moscow needs to stop sippin on that Vodka.

We shouldn't have gone to iraq in the first place, should have focused more on the taliban before Hussein, but, we made a mess over there, and leaving now would just cause more chaos, we should clean up the mess before just leaving.

  8. who the h**l cares what the Russians say...the media over estmates them.....they leave out that the Us economy is 3* that of Russias our population is 2* that of their and climbing every day  and our military still has 1.4 million troops that arn't in iraq and Afganistian..... The media tries to make it look like we are powerless to stop the Russians were not......If Russia wants a war they'll get one and the US will kick some *** like we always do...I don't really want war but with Russia is doing we may have no choice Russia thinks were all locked up in Iraq and Afganistian but they seem to forget we still have 400000 troops at their doorstep in Europe not to mention the other 1 million troops across the world...

in a military of 1.6 million we only have 200000 in Iraq and Afganistan dispite what the media says our military still has 1.4 million troops left to fight any war....

  9. Why does moscow say that? Are they trying to prove that America is being hypocritical or is it a "I'll only do it if you do it first" kind of thing?

They are totally different conflicts and are totally different reasons plus it's too late for America to pull out now. They have committed way too much to the cause.

  10. I say Moscow needs to worry about their own issues instead of ours. They don't run our country. Where is your link?

  11. I've heard estimates that we are spending 10-20 billion dollars a month in Iraq over half a trillion to date, up to 3 trillion or more after all is said and done. You ever see a trillion of something? Me neither. Our national dept is 9.5 trillion dollars.  The main reason our dollar is hitting all time lows is do to our dept and our "defense" spending.   Imagine what we could do with that money in the States, our money.   We could be expanding an energy infrastructure based on renewables i.e. wind, solar, tidal, geothermal, biomass (algae) and wave. This is what we need to improve are national security and reduce pollution at the same time.  Not to mention the cost of human life.

This war was sold to us on lies.  The administration told us Iraq posed an imminent threat to our national security when we know now  intellegence was manipulated.   I believe it is of vital importance to our national security and economic stability to bring our troops home now.

  12. I say the United States does not answer to Moscow... we make our own decisions, and we do what we need to do, for as long as we need to do it.

Amazing to me the world hates us (or so the news says) for the work we're doing in Iraq, yet who are they calling upon to bring a solution to the Russia/Georgia conflict?   Well, the world can't have it both ways. If Moscow officially said that, they're throwing stones... we're better off not reacting to that kind of taunting.

  13. Kinda funny that when Bush tells Russia to get out of Georgia Russia has to do what he says. When Putin tells the USA to get out of Iraq the answer of most is "Russia got no authority. They have no right to tell us anything like that. We do not have to do what Russia says". Bunch of hypocrites. Just like Bush himself.

  14. Link please.
