Moss Lane to ace the Shelbourne Getting Out A1 575 at Shelbourne Park on 18th April, 2012
Moss Lane is gaining popularity in the market for the Grade A1 Shelbourne Getting Out A1 575 at Shelbourne Park. He will enter the race with the odds of 9 to 4, and demonstrate his skill on the 575 yard track for €400.
Breaking out of trap 6, the son of Droopys Scolari, out of Vigilant Amy, has hopes pinned to him. Throughout the season, he finished twice as a runner-up and once in third place in his last four starts.
The lightly raced hound, whose career began on 23rd February, 2012, has not achieved a single victory, but today he will be determined to bag one.
He came close to one as he finished as a runner-up to race favourite, Exocet, by 1 length in the Grade A5 Shelbourne A5 525 Final at Shelbourne Park on 5th April, 2012, as he covered the distance in 28.85 seconds.
He stood third in the Grade A5 Shelbourne A5 525 Round 1 Heat 1 at Shelbourne Park on 21st March, 2012.

He raced as a favourite and completed the course in 28.98 seconds, whereas the winner, Locnamon Brian, finished in 28.70 seconds.
Memories Dash, son of Scarty Lad, out of Glory Days, is currently on a hat-trick with two victories already under his belt.
Breaking out of trap 4, the S. Lanney trained hound triumphed over, Unknown Marina, by 3 ¼ lengths over 525 yards on 31st March, 2012 in 28.94 seconds.
He narrowly defeated, Drumurrer Fox, by ¾ of a length in the Grade A1 Shelbourne A1 525 at Shelbourne Park on 5th April, 2012 in 29.10 seconds.
Racing at Shelbourne Park does not offer this hound a particular advantage, as he does not have a lot of experience here. He has previously raced at Dundalk and Shawfield among other venues.
It is speculated that, Moss Lane, will land the victory, and his good form will reflect on the track today. With his speed and stamina, Moss Lane can post a speedy victory.
Memories Dash may land a finish as a runner-up, but he will be more motivated to win this one as it will complete his hat-trick. If he brings his best to the track and if luck favours him a little, he is bound to be victorious.
