why cant mosses become fully terrestial plants? and, do they possess true leaves, stems and roots?

  1. I'd also say because they require water in part of their lifecycle ie for the sperm to swim to the archegonia


  2. they don't have true leaves stems and roots therefore they can't transport water from the soil. That's why they need to be very close to water and they can't become fully terrestrial.
