Most Boring Type of Science?

I say Physics when I read a physics textbook I feel as if I was reading

Blah.. Blah...Blah...blah.

That taught by a bad teacher.  I had one whose idea of teaching science was to have everyone sit in class and read the textbook.

Boring depends on you, not the science.  Try reading something  written at your level, where you have the background to understand it.  Physics is about how the universe works.  How could that be boring?

Don't choose a career in science. There are plenty of money making options out there for you. Your mind is interested in other things which is totally okay.

The most boring type of science is the study of statics, which analyzes stationary objects. It is also super important, so things don't fall over on us and we know how to balance stuff and understand basic mechanical behavior. Example: Exactly how should you put your car up on jacks so it doesn't fall over on your sorry a**? Think this is funny? You won't have a second chance to find out! But learning about it and studying it is about as fun as rinsing your mouth with hydrogen peroxide.

While some think the field is drilling, I think petroleum geology is the most boring.  Well, that's the hole truth.

It varies with the person, as you can see from the variety of answers. In my case, I once fell asleep in a chem lecture. When I woke, 400 students had left the room. There were five people left. Someone washing the blackboards, the prof gathering his notes, and the guys who sat next to me shaking me to wake me up.
