What hair colour would a child be most likely to have if their father had dark hair and the mother was blond?

Thats like my mum and dad. My mum has blonde hair and my dad has dark brown, but I'm like a dark blonde. I started off with really dark hair, but as I grew older it got lighter. I think it ends up either a light brown, or a dark blonde.

dark hair because the gene for dark hair is dominant to the gene for blond hair, and you'd only have blond hair if both copies of the blond gene are present
