Most Eccentric Players in Major League Baseball - Part 2
Baseball is a serious sport but there are times or incidents by players where you just can’t seem to think of it as serious and gets termed under eccentric. Here are a few players who get the honours for being so.
Brian Wilson of the current reigning World Champions, the San Francisco Giants is well recognised for his beard which he plans to never get rid of. He has many appearances on various TV talk shows and likes to be open and honest whenever he discusses anything.
He is a unique and genuine character in MLB.
Ichiro Suzuki of the Washington Nationals is more of a cultural icon rather than a character. He is an ace at whatever he does and the only reason anyone knows about the Nationals is mostly because of him. He was the first player to prove that Asian players
can be successful in the MLB.
Tim Lincecum of the San Francisco Giants is probably the best upcoming pitcher in all of Major League Baseball. His stoner like appearance does not do justice to the talent he possesses. Lincecum’s regular order at a fast food restaurant was recently made
public, but after the revelation all one can wonder is that where does it all go? His lanky physique does not boast what he consumes.
Ozzie Guillen of the Chicago White Sox has managed to put his foot in his mouth quite a few times. He cannot seem to find a balance between sometimes saying things that are not acceptable. He has made many inappropriate comments about stadiums, teams and
various players and managers in Major League Baseball. Guillen seems to not have much control over what he says regardless of how it may be taken. He is considered to be one of the most dynamic managers in the MLB. His track record seems to allow him to get
away with his thoughtless remarks.
The lives of baseball stars are so busy that they barely have time to do anything. Dirk Hayhurst of the Tampa Bay Rays has managed to prove his usefulness in the field and written a New York Times bestselling novel by the name of The Bullpen Gospel which
is considered to be one of the best books about what goes on in baseball. In it he gives an account of his life and time in Major League Baseball.
