Most Underrated Team in Football. Whats your thoughts?

Honestly The Eagles are the most underrated team. They went 8-8 in the same division with the 13-3 Cowboys, 10-6 Super Bowl Champs, and the 9-7 Redskins. Thats a pretty tough division. Nobody was under 500. But now they've made some adjustments and have most players recovered from injuries. Look at their Defense. Dawkins and QuentinMikell at safety. There a dangerous duo. Then they have Asante Samuel, Sheldon Brown, and Lito Shepphard at Corner backs. Gocong, Gaither, and Bradley are decent linebackers. And the offensive line with Parker, Patterson, Bunkley, and Cole that can make the QB be pressured into throwing easy picks to the great safeties and cornerbacks. thats a high pressure D. Then on Offensive if McNabb can stay healthy, he'll have the veteran Kevin Curtis and the speedy rookie DeSean Jackson as his go to guys. Jason Avant and especially Hank Baskett are other good wide receivers. The offensive line is great, and they have Brian Westbrook who can run it up the gut or go out and be a reliable receiver. L.J. Smith is a ok tight end. Is that underrated or what. They may sneak into the playoffs as a wild card and shock everybody.

You make good points but they have a big IF, as you said, "if McNabb can stay healthy". Because of that and his history I don't think they're stock is going to be very high for a while. It won't be until mid-season once McNabb can show that he is able to stick it out that they'll be looked at. Underrated, I don't really think so b/c you don't know what you have a QB. I think they'll do well and maybe get into the playoffs as a wildcard, I think the division takes the two wildcards again so I see the Eagles and the Giants battling for that last spot. The 'Boys will be tearing it up and Washington is getting better by the moment. Also, don't forget that they tend to run Westbrook a little too hard, they don't really have a two headed monster at RB like most teams do and late in the game, especially in Nov. when they're on the road for three games where a lot of running will be asked of the game due to the weather. So I really don't think they're underrated, I think the most underrated will be the Browns, they're not expected to do much but I think they'll ruin the season for at least a couple of teams.

I can agree with what your saying about the eagles. The only major hole in that team is the leadership at linebacker. Yes they have a good core but know leadership. Besides Dawkins the D has no face. I would have to say the most underrated team would have to be the Panthers. Finally getting healthy. A major beef up in the O-line and the D-line is showing up again. With Beason, Davis and the rookie at linebacker the front 7 is solid. Besides Chris gamble the DBs need work. With the return of the 'moose' the WR core is stronger and Dwayne Jarrett showing some life, it will help Steve smith a lot. Now that Jake is back and 2nd year man Matt Moore is putting pressure on him, I see Carolina having a great battle at the QB position. Finally the RB are young fast and strong, plus Stewart is a power house and will return Carolina to the Stephen Davis Era. Thats why i believe Carolina can get in as a wild card or even steal the division from the saints

I would have to go with the HOUSTON TEXANS.  The other three teams in their division made it to the playoffs last year!  The Colts advanced as AFC South Champions and both the Titans and the Jaguars advanced as Wild Cards.  If the Texans were in any other division they'd be ranked a lot better than 4th.

SEC is the worst conference ever.  They are afraind to play against the mighty USC!!
