Most cc on a driver?

i play on a high school golf team and i no theres a limit 2 the cc on a driver but i cant remember what it is. anybody no?

it is 460 cubic centimeters or cc. i play high school and they do sell drivers that are more cc like the john daly driver or the hammer.

460 bud. and for us, we had limits. i would check with the coach first.

I think I know what you are asking..but I'm not sure about me answering, and be wrong. I think that 460cc is the max size for a driver...but,,,,,?  So, best thing is to go to the USGA website and you'll find the answer, or check at your local golf course and the golf pro...he'll have a rule book and know the answer for sure.  O.K.?  Hold on a minute......

Here's your answer from the USGA, "The Rules of Golf,"

2006-2007. My rule book for 2008 is in my golf bag.

Page 121,dimensions and size:  "The size of the clubhead must not exceed 28.06 cubic inches (460 cubic centimeters), plus a tolerance of 0.61 cubic inches (10 cubic centimeters.)

Any one playing competitive golf should keep a copy of thr "Rules of Golf" in his bag and know them thoroughly for often they can work to your advantage. Club specs are part of those rules.

460 anything higher is over the USGA limit.
