  1. Most likely pork; it's tough to raise cattle, and expensive to import anything.  And beef really doesn't go with pineapple...

Update: Actually, cattle are higher in number of head, amount produced, and economic value.  Google Hawaii Dept. of Agriculture if you need details.

  2. Beef - served hot and buffed on the beaches every day.

  3. pork.

  4. pig

  5. pork.....Kahlua pig is the best!!!

  6. Spam

  7. Technically, nutmeat is the most common meat. While not the flesh of an animal, most thesauri include nutmeat amongst the aforementioned. The Hawaii Nut (actually it is just called the Macademia Nut in Hawaii) accounts for well over 100% of internal exports in the state.

  8. Pork

  9. When I visited it was pork but pork in the form of spam.

  10. Pork

While I was hiking inside Haleakula on Maui, a native park ranger came riding in on horseback, rifle at his side. Asked me if I'd seen any goats or pigs. I pointed up towards the southeast rim of the caldera. After an hour there were a couple of shots and the ranger came down with a big boar slung over his saddle.

    That's FRESH MEAT.

    And, of course, there's always...

In the United States, the residents of the state of Hawaii and the territories of Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) consume the most Spam per capita.

The beef comes primarily from the Parker Ranch on the Big Island.
