    TRUE =

are able to reproduce other cells of the same type if damage to that tissue occurs

  2. "retain the ability to divide into other cells of the same type"

differentiated only means that the cells fate has been determined to be only ONE type of tissue. They keep their genes and all of the abilities for cell division.

They cannot however change from one cell type/tissue to another. ie. a muscle cell cannot become an organ cell in any case.
