Most easily accessed US Embassy to Los Cabos Mx?

Moving to Los Cabos and for visa reasons, I would like to know where the closest US consulate is located. I know there is one in TJ, however, this is quite a long drive and I'm wondering if a La Paz ferry inland, wouldn't be closer.

Or... as a third option- where's the cheapest city to fly into from Los Cabos that has a US Embassy?

Here is the list of all U.S. consulates and consular agencies in Mexico.  There is a consular agency in  Cabo San Lucas.
