Most efficient cargo vans

i need a very efficient van for my courier business

Personally I like the sprinter deisel vans as a people mover it will take 10 people and their stuff and still get [ company fiqures } 30mpg  . Its a stand up van and if you use it for courier it will hold a lot. I've noticed a lot of couriers and bus companies in the Toronto area are starting to use them.

Merc Sprinter for economy, a VW Transporter for reliability. A Transit if you're absolutely stupid!

VW Crafter between 25 and 28 mpg. Vw LT, upto 2006, slightly better. We have a Transit 280, does about 30 to 32 mpg. The star for mpg is a Renault trafic 100 dci, that weighs in with an impressive 37 mpg ! That figure is nearly as good as the Fiat Doblo Cargo ( Yeuk) it replaced !

I'd also go for a freight sprinter as that's what I have tended to use for doing small deliveries and flying around town etc.
