  1. the answer above is so wrong. It is  B) 50 , look at humans, with 46 chromosomes btw... did you just post your entire hw on this site haha. i guess you gotta get it done

  2. Answer is B.

  3. Most eukaryotic organisms have less than 100 chromosomes which isn't in your list of options ("< 100" should've been an option).  The number can also exceed 100 chromosomes; the number of chromosomes among eukaryotic organisms (including both plants and animals) varies on a case-by-case basis.

You should also specify what's meant by "most organisms."  It could mean "most species," or it could mean organisms by quantity, or it could even mean organisms by mass in the biosphere.  You could have 75 percent of all organism species having less than 51 chromosomes in their cells, but if the other 25 percent of all organisms who have greater than 50 chromosomes in their cells make up a greater mass (or number) in the biosphere, then the answer could be "greater than 50 chromosomes in their cells"...depending on what you meant by "most organisms."

Either way, this is totally a wikified question and answer.

  4. I believe the answer is D. Eukaryotic organisms, i.e. humans and animals, have thousands of chromosomes that are responsible for their different characteristics and features.
