Most expesive city? Buenos Aires, Bogota,or Santiago?

I would say Buenos Aires or Santiago. Bogota is not expensive.

Santiago,Chile is much costlier than the other two. I gage it by lodging, meals, transp,entertainment & shopping. Bogota, 2nd costliest, based on above, add also the sense of personal safety, that keeps one from venturing further than the relative safety of the main tourist areas. Buenos  Aires, has a greater variety of lodgings,& wonderful choices of restaurants, less expensive transp,& great shopping bargains. I have felt safer in B.A. than in my own home town of Chicago, also B.A. is less costly than Chicago.

Sometimes the price of the city does not determine all the factors.... think about it,  would you rather be at an ugly , unsafe place.. but cheap... or a beautiful cool place but pricey?  .. its your call... I rather eat less and see more than eat more.. but see less... GET IT?

Never been to Colombia..

Buenos Aires is spectacullar, not what I had envisioned at all. Santiago, very pretty and clean. Again with a strong currency such as the Euro, Pound, Dollar, Yen...you can get far in these cities.

If I had the chance I would totally return to Buenos Aires...., and eat more gelatos!!!! yummmmmmmmm

It depends, but i would say Santiago and then Buenos Aires.

Santiago is more expensive by far and a lot more chaotic than buenos aires , buenos aires is not the cheapest but i think you would enjoy more in Argentina in any aspect.
