Most famous thunderstorm?!?

i cant find any at all and this is my school project. they're all either tornatoes or hurricanes. could anyone name at least ONE?

for the most famous tornadoes, i found that The Great Natchez Tornado: A massive tornado strikes Natchez, Mississippi during the early afternoon hours was the greatest tornado. Before it was over, 317 people had lost their lives and 209 were injured. It is the second deadliest tornado in U.S. history (7 May 1840).

Tri-State tornado of 1925 was perhaps the most famous tornado to ever hit the United States, simply because of it's tremendous life span and the amount of destruction that it caused. This tornado occured on March 18, 1925, and crossed three different states-Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana-before finally disippating in southern Indiana. the one i was in on the pee dee river about 15 years ago. you won`t find anything or record here but i saw men screaming like little girls and i was one of them. trees were falling left and right and lightning and waterspouts were going up and down the river. it rained so hard it sank all of our boats because the pumps could not keep up.
